Hello and greetings fellow otaku,
I know that it has been a few weeks since I have updated AFC, but with my new job, looking for more work and taking a medical terminology course online, it has been one crazy summer for me so far. However, I do have some interesting news to report and a quick update of what’s to come. But enough chit chat, let get to the breaking news.
Media Blasters, the company that brought you such great titles as Genshiken, Kujibiki Unbalance and Dojin Work has recently announced that it has obtained the rights to seasons one and two of the popular anime series Bakuman. Currently, Media Blasters plans to release the first seven episodes of season one this November. The second season of the series will be airing on Japanese television this fall. The show’s manga counterpart which is distributed by Viz Media currently has five volumes available in English translation.
And now on to other business, recently I have just launched the sister site for AFC entitled AFC Gaming Zone. If you want to learn more about it, click on the link below to see more. Also, I have some reviews that are going to be posted in the next few weeks including volume one of the new Phoenix Wright manga and my first ever Japanese Movie Review in which I will be looking at the popular psycho\gothic feature film “Psycho Gothic Lolita” and trust me, you will be shocked at what you will learn about this Japanese cult classic.
